Charlie

Image
CHARLIE THE CAT Charlie is the most recent cat we adopted. He is about 2 months old, and he is a ginger, Persian cat.  My brother's friend had a couple of cats, and Charlie was a part of their litter.  They, unfortunately could not raise the kittens and had sold or given most away. Charlie, being the most energetic of the litter failed to find a home.  My brother had brought him home temporarily, until his friend could find a home for Charlie.  I used to look after Charlie while he stayed with us, and in the process, I got super attached to him. My parents were initially not in favor of adopting him, but eventually, Charlie charmed them as well,  here is a picture of Charlie from May. He has already made our life so beautiful by being in it.

Strays To Stays

Strays To Stays I have been raised in a house where I have had the liberty to interact with animals. My parents have always encouraged me to help animals as much as I could. They have never taught me to differentiate and discriminate among animals, based on breeds and always emphasized that all lives were precious in their own ways, and they were all valuable, important, and deserved a good life.  My family has always opted for adoption over buying pets. Because every animal deserves a loving home, not just the ones with fine pedigree.  Over the years, we've had many cats and dogs, for short or long periods of time.  I decided to create Strays to Stays, an informal adoption center (my home) for cats and dogs in need. This blog will track progress of my journey that i am so passionate about.
